  • Fellowships and Scholarships workshop (appetizers and treats starting at 4:00pm)
  • “Would you like to be acknowledged for your outstanding achievements and earn a scholarship or fellowship that can help propel you toward your dreams? Learn about how your research and other outstanding achievements can make you a strong candidate for scholarships and fellowships that can help finance graduate school, support a year abroad after you graduate, or launch a career in the foreign service.”

Wednesday, July 17

  • Considering a Career in Research & Development workshop (appetizers and treats starting at 4:00pm)
  • “Learn about careers in R&D from Bucknell alumnus Michael Ellis, Senior Director of R&D at Johnson Labs in Bar Harbor, ME; Students in STEM fields will find this particularly valuable”

  • Campus-wide summer research ice cream social! Everyone is welcome for frozen treats, cookies, and candy.

Thursday, July 18

  • Final presentations!
    • Arrive at 9:30am for set up and sound check.
    • Presentations will be from 10:00-11:30, invite your friends and colleagues!

12:00 PM, Gram’s (meet in front of HMHC)

  • Celebratory lunch as a group

  • Preparing Your Grad School Application workshop (appetizers and treats starting at 4:00pm)
  • Have you decided to apply to graduate school, but are struggling with how to do it? This session is for you, especially if you are applying for PhD programs.” Learn about reaching out to possible grad school advisors, crafting statements of purpose, personal statements, and diversity statements, how to choose letters of recommendation, and more.
